With unveiled face

A little child’s eye is single. There is no guile in them.

Their lives are lived as if in a dream, without contrivance or dissimulation. Their nous is one with their heart and mind, and they live, move, and speak with a single expression.

Their life is one of constant relation to the other: to mother, father, sister, brother. Or even when alone playing with their toys, which are little people who speak and talk with one another, as an extension of the personal reality of the child, it is an experience of a constant encounter.

Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven. – Jesus Christ, Matt 18:10
